A very fine and decorative German polychrome painted oval metal tray. Decorated overall with a landscape, with hills and a small village in the distance, an elegant couple walking through a park in front of a lake. On the right the ruin of a classical column with the saying on the pedestal: "Des Lebens Höchstes ist die Liebe" (The highest good in life is love); brass handles.
