The oval grey marble insert top above a single frieze drawer, with brass line and star inlay, raised on slender curved legs joined by an oval undertier, ending on slipper feet; stamped CHAPUIS twice to the drawer interior, for Jean-Joseph Chapuis (1765-1864 Brussels).

Please note, that we are offering another, very similar oval gueridon (Ref No: 1992) by Chapuis, with only minor differences in size and decor. The two tables make a very nice near pair.
