Large and handsome 18th century Swedish baroque armchair with a good patina to the colour. Peg construction and slip seat, back splat and foot are consistent with Queen Ann chairs of that period but of a Nordic interpretation, fabricated under the reign of King Frederic between 1720 and 1750.
