A very decorative pair of egyptian revival patinated bronze candelabra, modelled as a pharoah supporting the central egyptian symbol of Re, a sun disk, laterally two arms decorated with stylized lotus leaves, supporting cone-shaped nozzles, the back and base with panels of figures and hieroglyphics.
This pair of candelabra was shown at the exhibition ”With Napoleon in Egypt” , at the Wallraf-Richartz Museum, Cologne, 2009-2010.
