Late Gustavian Console Table with Dolphins

A fine Swedish early 19th century carved giltwood dolphin console table, retaining the original mottled white marble top, the frieze with a central lion mask, accanthus leaves and floral ornaments above two fully carved dolphin supports on a simulated black marble wooden base. A rare and very decorative table of good proportions.
