Very decorative tortoiseshell veneered clockcase, with a spread-winged eagle finial above a domed top with four further finials above an arched glass paneled case with foliate pierced gilt-bronze sound frets, with demi-lune mouldings framing glass panels.

The silvered dial engraved chapter ring with Roman hours I-XII and Arabic minutes 5-60, the centre with an alarm-setting disc, a three-day going movement, striking the hours, the case with stepped and moulded plinth on scrolled ormolu feet.
